Welcome to Glasu. Our activities are part funded through the
Rural Development Plan for Wales 2008 to 2013 which is financed by
the European Union and the Welsh Assembly Government, as well as
Powys County Council. We are a rural development initiative
providing assistance and support to businesses, individuals and
community groups in Powys.

Taste of Powys
Food is travelling further than it ever has before, often hundreds of miles from where it was produced to the homes where it is consumed. If you invest locally, it is the local community that will see the result.
Food and Sustainability
The food sector is critical to the long term sustainability of the Powys economy. Local food production needs to be supported and expanded to ensure food security and sustainability. The food and sustainability project may be able to support your innovative ideas in food supply and demand.
Festivals and Events
Powys has a fantastic range of festivals and events, both large and small. Festival organisers can access support with networking, knowledge sharing and funding from our Festivals and Events Enterprise Fund.
