LambsDeveloping the Wool and Sheepskin industry in Powys is a co-operative project with 2 other LEADER+ groups, the Fells and Dales in Cumbria and North Antrim LEADER+ in Northern Ireland. The aim of the project is to aid the development of the wool and sheepskin industry in all three areas. The project contains elements that all three groups work on (Joint Actions) and elements that happen in the respective areas.

The joint actions will include regular meetings between groups to share best practice and ideas, the establishment of an archive of sheepskins from each area, a number of seminars to raise the awareness of sheepskins and the development of a best practice preservation protocol for wool on sheepskins.

Also taking place under this project will be the following activities -
